AfyaXplore Program is an innovative initiative led by TibaSalama in collaboration with international and local partners, including universities, colleges, and individual students committed to advancing community health. Through this program, participants travel to Tanzania to volunteer directly within rural communities and local health facilities, where they live alongside community members to gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of how community health systems operate—particularly in delivering primary healthcare services for mothers and children aged 0-5.
The program is implemented under close supervision by TibaSalama in partnership with local government authorities (LGAs) and Community Health Workers (CHWs), ensuring that participants make a meaningful impact while strengthening their professional skills.
AfyaXplore welcomes students from Public health, Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine (MD), and other relevant fields aligned with TibaSalama’s work. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply directly by submitting their CV along with a tailored motivation letter expressing their interest in the program.
