Community Digital Health Innovation
The eHealth Mom is a Community Health Service Delivery mobile-based platform co-developed between TibaSalama and the Ministry of Health Tanzania for use by Community Health Workers (CHWs) as they provide household-to-household Integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) to families, particularly pregnant women and children. Tailored for use in low-resource settings, eHealth Mom is used for service delivery and reporting, health facility referral management and case follow up and monitoring.

Through eHealth Mom, CHWs are trained to provide comprehensive maternal and child health services with digital tools and capabilities.

  • Register pregnant women and newborns into the platform
  • Monitor health progress during home visits
  • Identify danger signs and trigger emergency referrals to nearby health facilities
  • Educate mothers using digital visual and audio content
